AWTG’s DSIT Projects Recognised at The Future Networks Awards – HiPer-RAN Wins the Incremental Innovation Award

AWTG is thrilled to announce that several DSIT-funded projects, where the team plays a pivotal role, were recognised at The Future Networks Awards, held last March 19th at the Connected Reflections Live event in London. Hosted by the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT) and UKTIN, the event brought together industry leaders to explore cutting-edge innovations in the UK’s digital transformation. AWTG’s involvement in these pioneering initiatives was celebrated across multiple award categories.

Notably, AWTG’s HiPer-RAN project was honoured with the significant Incremental Innovation Award, which recognises projects that have delivered measurable advancements in network technologies through iterative and practical improvements. AWTG is the technical work packages lead for HiPer-RAN, a project focused on enhancing connectivity solutions and addressing the increasing demand for high-performance networks.

In addition, AWTG is the lead partner for SCONDA, which was shortlisted for both the Ecosystem Excellence and Barrier Breaker awards, further demonstrating the company’s dedication to driving innovation in the UK’s connectivity landscape.

AWTG who is the technical lead for Core HDD Project, was also present at the event to show their support not only for the project but also for DSIT’s ongoing initiative to innovate and secure the connectivity of the UK.
