Equipped with newly installed RU units in a controlled setting, expanded shielded testing space, and additional units for future integration, the lab provides the ideal infrastructure for advancing 5G network development and interoperability.
At the core of this initiative is the AWTG 5G Open RAN Data Centre, featuring multiple 5G Core Networks including Druid, Athonet, and CapGemini. This scalable and resilient facility incorporates power redundancy management, rigorous health and safety measures for RF equipment, and capacity for future expansion.
