April 11, 2023 – At the first IEEE STDS P2301 review meeting, the working group of the committee observed the IEEE Patent / Copyright Policy to protect AWTG’s Intellectual property in telecoms cloud. The scope of tasks for reviewing IEEE STDS P2301 covers wide areas for new develops in the cloud computing space which includes all aspects of portability and interoperability for ORAN, MEC, Cloud Core and other aspects of telecoms cloud for 5G, 5G Advanced and 6G. As a result, IEEE – SA issued a Letter of Assurance which is given to participating members of its working and study groups to AWTG to consent to protecting the company’s Intellectual property in Cloud Core and Telecoms Cloud.
