AWTG shares success of UKTIN and DSIT’s collaborative event yesterday – ONE Project and Open Network Programme

AWTG is proud to have been a part of yesterday’s Open Network Ecosystem Projects and Open Network Programme, a joint effort by UKTIN and DSIT, a resounding success. Among the award-winning consortia presented at the event were –  Flex-5G, Flexi-DAS and TUDOR, all of which were showcased by AWTG.

AWTG also had the pleasure of demonstrating the innovative capabilities of the Flex-5G “Network in a box” to the Minister for Data and Digital Infrastructure, Sir John Whittingdale OBE MP’. This was a delightful opportunity for AWTG to showcase its abilities and contributions to the industry. 

During the HDD: Urban Infrastructures and Smart Cities Panel, Ian Vernon, COO of AWTG, spoke about the connectivity challenges that arise in dense urban areas and how the AWTG team can help overcome these challenges. He discussed the team’s objectives regarding Open RAN and how it will address the existing gaps. AWTG looks forward to collaborating with industry experts to explore various opportunities and achieve success. 

The event was also an opportunity for the SCONDA Consortium partners to meet. Pictured are AWTG’s partners from Accenture, Boldyn Networks, Three, PiWorks, Scotland 5G, DSiT.
