AWTG showcased its technological advancements during its participation at Lamma 2025, capturing the attention of visitors with its DSIT-funded projects, such as the Borderlands 5G Innovation Region and England’s Connected Heartland – Railway. These initiatives highlighted AWTG’s significant contribution to the UK’s 5G infrastructure across various sectors and demonstrated the transformative role of AI in connectivity innovations.

At the heart of AWTG’s exhibition was its dedication to revolutionising the AgriTech sector. By leveraging connectivity and AI, AWTG has developed tools and solutions that empower farmers to enhance efficiency and productivity. Our solutions enable precise monitoring of crop health, soil and water conditions, and weather patterns, equipping farmers with the knowledge to make informed decisions and optimise yields. These AI-driven insights not only assist individual farmers but also enhance agricultural workforce planning by minimising the need for seasonal manual labour and reducing waste.

AWTG’s presence at Lamma 2025 emphasised its commitment to supporting the agricultural community with technologies that tackle current challenges and foster a sustainable future.

Reflecting on the event, Gary Halstead, AWTG’s Bid Manager, stated,

Lamma 2025 provided a fantastic platform for us to engage directly with the farming community. Hearing from farmers and agritech professionals gave us valuable insights into the practical challenges they face, allowing us to tailor our solutions even more effectively.”

Peter Najm, Product Coordinator at AWTG, added,

“The feedback we received at Lamma has been invaluable. It underscored the importance of collaboration in technology development and how listening to the sector’s needs helps us refine our approach to ensure our tools truly meet the industry’s demands.”

The team who was present at the event highlighted AWTG’s commitment to advancing technology in agriculture. AWTG’s involvement in Lamma 2025 represented a crucial milestone in presenting its innovative progress, which aims to enhance farming techniques and assist the agricultural sector in achieving greater efficiency and sustainability. More importantly, it provided an excellent chance to engage with various DSIT-funded projects, demonstrating a unified objective of a connected UK, despite spanning different sectors.
