AWTG’s instrumental role in Liverpool City Region’s latest success story – the launch of the new BeMore website and mobile app

October 20, 2022, Liverpool – AWTG is pleased to announce the successful launch of the new Be More website and mobile app.

It has been a great opportunity for AWTG to expand its portfolio of web and mobile app developments by producing an all-in-one training and careers portal powered by multiple cutting edge technologies such as artificial intelligence and augmented reality.

The new Be More app will help connect local residents to apprenticeship and employment opportunities. The app will offer real-time updates on local vacancies and will help users write CVs and offer personalised recommendations on opportunities relevant to their areas of interest.

Steve Rotheram, Mayor of the Liverpool City Region said:

“Be More is one of my proudest achievements since being elected mayor. It’s already won recognition for the difference it has made but I am constantly pushing to do better. The launch of this new app marks the next stage in its journey and will act as a single front door to help people from across the region to get on and succeed in life.

“It’s the first of its kind anywhere in the country and I’m sure other areas are already looking to copy. Once again, through our pioneering work, it’s the Liverpool City Region charting a course for other places to follow.”

Kamal Choudhary, Jon Child and Andy Thornton who spearheaded the development from the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority were very hands on throughout the development stage. David Oliver, AWTG’s Director of Public Sector Innovation shares:

“It has been a privilege to work with Kamal, Jon, Andy and the rest of the team at Liverpool. The team have a very clear vision of what they want to achieve and how they want to achieve it.

The new Be More Web Platform and Mobile App will help people in the region to easily find and apply for apprenticeship opportunities that interest them.

But it is much more than that, it will provide them with a gateway to training, careers advice, youth services, a calendar of events, a CV builder, information about the jobs market, and much more.

What’s more, it does this in a way that people will really engage with, it is visually stunning and includes all the latest features that provide a modern and rich user experience, including Augmented Reality.

Everyone at AWTG would like to congratulate the Liverpool team on the launch of BeMore.

There is no doubt that this innovative and unique solution will help get local people into training and employment, and it will help those with jobs to develop their skills and to progress their careers.”
