Engineering Manager

Salary: 40K- 50K
Reports To: Director of Engineering

Job Summary: As the Engineering Manager, you will be a key driver in the development and execution of innovative engineering projects across a wide spectrum of industries. you will be a central point of accountability for client satisfaction and be an expert at handling escalations as needed to produce, update and manage the programme plan.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a multidisciplinary engineering team, promoting a culture of innovation and services and continuous learning.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects, ensuring alignment with client requirements and project objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to allocate resources, manage project risks, and maintain project schedules.
  • Provide technical guidance and expertise to address complex engineering challenges.
  • Continuously improve engineering processes, methodologies, and workflows to enhance project efficiency and quality.
  • Coordinating supplier accounts for tools, overseeing the engineering team to ensure seamless tool readiness through tasks such as calibration, configuration, and licensing management.
  • Implement Agile or similar methodologies to optimize project management.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their specific needs, ensuring project deliverables meet or exceed expectations.
  • Foster strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor for technical solutions.
  • Assist in the development and management of engineering project budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and resource allocation.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • years of progressive experience in engineering, including 5 years in a leadership or managerial role.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and clients.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex engineering projects on time and within budget.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring abilities to develop engineering talent.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMP or Scrum Master certification.
  • Familiarity with emerging technologies such as, WIFI, 5G , IoT, and Industry 4.0.
