AWTG is delighted to announce its participation in the UK5G Showcase 2022, on the 22-23 March.

UK5G is presenting the UK5G Showcase 2022, a two-day conference and exhibition for senior telecoms and technology experts and political decision-makers, covering areas of 5G, use cases and related technologies. This is a unique opportunity to see first-hand some of the latest achievements of the UK DCMS funded 5G initiatives, through one of which AWTG is leading the Flex-5G project. Flex-5G, the recipient of multi-million pound funding from the UK DCMS Future RAN Competition (FRANC) is developing an ultra-flexible end-to-end Open RAN 5G SA network, incorporating a number of performance and efficiency-related innovations as part of its design. There will be an exclusive demo at the event to showcasing some of the early work of this prestigious project, led by AWTG’s Director of Research and Development, Design and Technology, Dr. Oliver Holland.

The event will also provide a platform for discussion of lessons learned and best practice, alongside opportunities to drive commercialisation through market scaling.
