AWTG Celebrates Key Role in Successful Completion of HiPer-RAN Project

March 31, 2025 – AWTG proudly marks a significant achievement in the HiPer-RAN (Highly Intelligent, Highly Performing RAN) project, which reached its successful conclusion with the closing event. As the technical work packages lead, AWTG played a pivotal role in developing and enhancing the RAN Intelligent Controller (RIC)framework and automation solutions for the Open RAN ecosystem. The project, led by the University of Surrey, aimed to address key challenges in software automation and efficiency, ultimately transforming the UK’s mobile telecommunications infrastructure for improved performance and scalability.
