A year ago, the successful free public Wi-Fi network at Dundee was launched offering fast internet access in the city centre waterfront area. AWTG delivered and deploy the project using Nokia’s secure and stable solutions.

AWTG was the technical partner for the public Wi-Fi network project for Dundee City Council as part of the £2m investment for future-proof digital infrastructures that included cutting-edge 5G testbed geared for innovative uses going forward, and an interactive digital play park. 

The success of this milestone is made possible through the range of Dundee City Council’s partners – AWTG, Abertay University, and the Scottish Futures Trust.
